Deep Learning Model Development in Java

Of late I got fascinated with Deep Learning so my language of choice was Python due to obvious reasons.Though Python is easy to learn , there are some differences between the language of my choice (Java/Scala) and Python.I was looking for alternatives to Python.

Recently I stumbled across "Deep Java Library" on https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2019/12/introducing-deep-java-library-develop-and-deploy-machine-learning-models-in-java/.

This library gives us the power to develop models using Java. There are many pre created models and all it takes for Java developer is to start using it.Deploying Python models will introduce extra complexities in Enterprise world where Java still rules the roost. This way one can reduce cost of IT deployment.

For you to kickstart there are various examples in this GIT location https://github.com/awslabs/djl/tree/master/examples

It is under *Apache-2.0 license.
